Parking

Street parking is free without time limits on Sundays. Additionally, there is a municipal lot at the northwest corner of Downer and Park, just across the street from Sendik’s.

You can also park at the Downer Garage on the southeast corner of Downer and Belleview for a fee. Payment is done with your smartphone. You can scan the QR code in the garage lobby and pay for your parking before leaving the parking garage. Please be aware that the garage uses license plate recognition technology and may mail you a fine if you overstay the time you select, and St. Mark’s has no control over this. However, you can extend your parking session from your phone. If the cost of parking is a financial burden, please contact the priest for assistance.

Getting Here by Bus

You can also get here via several MCTS bus routes. The suggested stops here and estimate walk times are based on the Sunday bus schedule. The Route 30 has alternative routes. It will either stop directly across the street at Downer & Belleview, or it stops 4 blocks to the west, at Maryland & Belleview. Whereas the Route 21 stops just across the street at Downer & Belleview on weekdays, on Sundays it stops at North Ave and the Water Tower, an eight- minute walk south of the church. We are also an eight-minute walk south of the Route 22 stop at Locust & Downer and a 12-minute walk east of the Green Line stop at Oakland & Park.

Entrance

The large red doors on Hackett Avenue serve as the main entrance to the worship space, and you will find a place to hang your coat just inside.
