Each Sunday, the adults of the parish are welcome to engage with teachers, Bible Study, mixed-media teaching series, and local professors as they wrestle with the theological issues of the day.
Adult Formation for Fall 2026: Learning Our Way around The Library
Each year when I run the Episcopal 101, the most animated discussion of the course is on the night when we talk about the Bible, Holy Scripture. Everyone has questions, really good questions. Some people have things that they have been taught that they are not quite sure are true and want to know if there is a different way to look at the texts. Some folks just don’t know what they are supposed to think about the Bible.
The first thing to know about the Bible is that, contrary to the way people talk about it, it isn’t A Book. It is A Library. This fall we are going to spend the adult formation time wandering around this library to understand what books are on the shelves and maybe discovering a few hidden gems in the stacks.
There will be a change to the meeting time for adult formation this fall. We are experimenting with the time and will meet from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. This will allow attendees from both services to join in if they would like.

Additional learning opportunities are available throughout the year, especially in Lent. We also host reading groups and discuss films periodically.
